Drop Engineering lug nuts are carefully crafted from AL7075-T6. T6 temper 7075 Aluminum is an aircraft quality alloy, boasting an impressive ultimate tensile strength of 74,000 – 78,000 psi (pound per square in) and minimum yield strength of 63,000 – 69,000 psi. This level of strength guarantees that the Drop lug nuts will hold up even under the most demanding racing conditions.

Drop Engineering forges all of their lug nuts from AL7075 because it guarantees the greatest level of tolerance without any added weight.

Each lug nut is carefully crafted from an extruded aluminum billet. Drop Engineering utilizes CNC machinery to ensure the highest grade of precision quality during production. Stylish and durable, Drop Engineering lug nuts are an ideal upgrade for track or street drivers. These lug nuts are designed to function with Drop Engineering extended studs but will work on normal studs as well.

 ID is not new to producing Fuel Injectors by any means, they are most notably known for having the best injectors on the market for two reasons. Both Idle Quality, & ease of Tuning. They exceed all of their competitors in these categories!  And with the growing popularity of E85, the need for larger Injector sizes is becoming more mainstream!

 

Injector Dynamics is a Strategic Alliance between Yaw Power Products and T1 Race Development and was created to bring Yawpower’s dynamic injector characterization technology to the public. Previously this service was only available to tuners in the high end racing industry.

Injector Dynamics pride themselves on providing the absolute best fuel injectors available. ID backs this claim by providing data and technology that absolutely no one in the industry can match!

A Little Bit About the Injector Dynamics Technology:

Simply stated, a fuel injector is a dynamic device. It does not operate in a wide open or “static” condition. To learn anything of value about a fuel injector, it must be tested dynamically.

It must also be tested in an environment that simulates real world conditions as closely as possible. This means testing with temperature controlled gasoline, methanol, E85 or whatever fluid will actually be used on the running engine.

This type of testing is referred to as dynamic characterization, and was recently introduced to the racing industry by Yawpower in collaboration with Motec USA.

The Products:

Injector Dynamics fuel injectors are the result of batch testing large quantities of specially modified fuel injectors, and then carefully matching them into sets based on their dynamic flow across the pulsewidth range. The result is vastly superior cylinder to cylinder consistency, even at very low pulsewidths.

In addition to receiving tightly matched injectors, you will be provided with dead time compensation values across the entire pressure and voltage range of the injector. This data will insure that the compensations in your ECU work properly, and your air fuel ratios will remain consistent as atmospheric or voltage conditions change.

The ID725cc Injectors:

These maintain strict linearity at flow rates that will satisfy idle and cruise requirements for even the smallest engines. This makes the ID725 ideal for emissions compliant OEM applications while offering the high flow rates required for mildly boosted motors.

The ID1000cc Injectors:

The ID1000 was the first offering from Injector Dynamics, and was also the first injector to deliver a number of innovative features to the performance aftermarket. With a maximum pressure capability of 7 bar and excellent low pulsewidth extension, this is a versatile injector that will be at home in many different applications. From high power high boost daily drivers, the ID1000 set the standard and marked the beginning of a new era in fuel injector performance.

The ID1600cc Injectors:

The ID1600 fills the gap between the ID1000 and the ID2000, and is a drop in replacement for older EV-1 style 1600cc injectors.

Unlike the older technology, the ID1600 has a very gradual rolloff into the lower non linear range, with none of the rollercoaster response caused by undamped pintle bounce.

This smooth response makes for easy idle tuning, even on small displacement motors. In addition to the excellent response, the minimum usable fuel volume nearly matches that of the venerable ID1000, which means if you could make it idle with an ID1000, you can make it idle with an ID1600!

The ID2000cc Injectors:

The ID2000 has set the standard for linearity and control in a large injector! Flowing in excess of 2000cc/min at 3 bar, the ID2000 will also provide a smooth stoichiometric idle on small bore engines running E85, and it will do all this while maintaining strict linearity up to 95% duty cycle at 9000rpm. With a pressure capability of 9 bar this injector can flow as much as 3700cc/min with excellent low pulsewidth linearity, and has the broadest operating range of any injector on the market.
